Lithium is used to treat and prevent episodes of mania (frenzied, abnormally excited mood) in people with bipolar disorder (manic-depressive disorder; a disease that causes episodes of depression, episodes of mania, and other abnormal moods). This is my representation of what it would feel like before you take your Lithium. Every item takes on a new meaning, everything has more color, what we see is how we feel. Everything is in a dream or is it?

You didn't think these were just plants did you? Look closer, my inspiration for this series was Georgia O'Keefe's work. I've always wanted to take plants and animate them, bring them to life, give them a bit more power on paper than they have in a garden. I had no choice but to enter the animated world and collide it with the real one. Photographing on an extremely bright summer day with added lights gave it a starkness.
